Men’s Mental Health Solidarity Walk Set for June 6 in Blantyre
Blantyre will host the Men’s Mental Health Solidarity Walk on June 6, 2026 starting at 6:00 AM. The walk will begin in Blantyre and end at Mjamba. The event is organized by Malawian organization “Sorry I’m not Sorry” under the theme “Partners in Care for Better Mental Health.” Organizers say the walk will raise awareness and start the June Men’s Mental Health Campaign. Many men face stress, trauma, unemployment, and relationship problems in silence. This event will create a safe space for men to talk, heal, and get support.
Everyone is welcome to join. The day will start with an awareness walk from Blantyre to Mjamba. After the walk, there will be poetry, music, food and drink stalls at Mjamba. The event will also launch a “30 Days Men’s Free Therapy Campaign” by Sorry I’m not Sorry. Later, there will be short talks on financial literacy and healthy relationships. Dress code is a blue T-shirt or sportswear so we can stand together in unity.
