Chilomoni Entertainment Committee Set for Big Social Weekend
The Chilomoni Entertainment Committee is bringing back fun and energy to the township with the Chilomoni Social Weekend. The two-day event will take place on Friday 24th July and Saturday 25th July 2026, and is aimed at giving residents a chance to relax, meet friends, and celebrate community life. Organizers say the weekend will feature music, food, and entertainment for people of all ages.
On Friday 24th July, the event kicks off with an Open Air at KC Spot in Nthukwa. The night will run from 6:00 PM till late with a DJ mix, braai, and a chill vibe. Entry is FREE so everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the music and atmosphere. Then on Saturday 25th July, the action moves to Defrance in Namiwawa for a Custom Party from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The theme is all about style, and there will be a prize for the Best Outfit. Entry for the custom party is K7,000 only.
The committee says the goal of the weekend is simple: “Relax, Enjoy & Celebrate.” A number of local businesses including DepFarm, Groove Masters, The Daily Chilomoni are supporting the event.
